Here's my example / problem I'm trying to solve. I have page that outlines a process and a workflow description. That is the specific point of that page. I have a different page, let's call it "Helpful Information" that I want to have a section that pulls in the content from the process and workflow description page. This 2nd page will more more information above and below this. Is there a Macro or something that I can just create a 'block' for lack of a better term. I want to only have to update the content once on the source page and have those edits show up on the other page.
P.S. I definitely NOT a Confluence or Wiki pro making really fancy pages.
Hi @patwarnr!
In addition to the out-of-box macros @Jared Brenner mentioned, check out the Multi-Excerpt Add-on if you need to use more than one excerpt per page. It's not free but definitely provides value.
Hope these answers help, if so, please consider clicking the "Accept Answer" button(s) so others benefit from the "answered" flag in their search results - thanks!

Hi Pat,
Check out the Excerpt and Excerpt Include macros. They allow a user to include an excerpt from one page on another.
Good luck!

I was able to create the Excerpt on the source page, but unable to make Expert Include work. The dialog box says to enter the url of the page where the excerpt is, and I did that, but it keeps throwing an error that the page can't be found or that you can only excerpt from a page or a blog. The source page definitely exists. I'm thinking it's possible that this problem is because these pages were originally created on a different instance of Confluence and migrated to the current instance. I tried a test page in my personal space with 2 fresh pages and it works. Guess my problem is an edge case :(

It's possible the macro won't work across different spaces, so I'd check that first. And when using the Excerpt Include macro be sure to enter the title of the page and not the URL. An autocomplete list will appear after you enter the first few characters. Keep experimenting - I'm sure you'll find a solution that meets your needs!

Ta-Da!! Thank you. They are not on different spaces. I was using the url, not the page title. Thank you!!! Learned a new trick today :)
