I want to embed a portfolio planner report in confluence.
I have a number of project overviews in portfolio planner.
The report I use the most is the Schedule that shows the timelines of all the projects within a given programme.
I copy the Embed link and then paster this into a HTML block within confluence, but nothing gets displayed.
Amy I missing something here?
It seems that the embed function in portfolio planner and the HTML block in confluence should work together — how can I embed and display a portfolio report in confluence?
@Dean Peters-Wright Have you tried to use HTML Include Macro or Html Macro and use code to put an iframe tag to wrap your external portfolio link?
You can find those reference links here:

Hey there, I have, that's exactly what I tried unfortunately (I said HTMK block, but I meant HTML Macro) — it simply doesn't work — nothing gets displayed.

What Confluence version are you using?

We use cloud for both confluence and JIRA — Is that what you mean?

Ohh i see @Dean Peters-Wright, HTML Macro is not allowed to use in Cloud due to security. Please refer here for further information https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/restricted-functions-in-confluence-cloud-734070955.html
So i doubt we are able to do this on Confluence Cloud
Maybe the HTML Macro for Confluence Cloud is what you want? https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/biz.artemissoftware.confluence.html.HtmlMacro/cloud/overview
Let me know if that is what you are looking for. That add-on uses the Atlassian Connect framework to bring back a safer version of HTML Macro for Cloud.

Thats works. We'll probably have to get it, but would be good if Atlassian would provide a solution without having purchase this addon.
But thank you for your help.

@Dean Peters-Wright We used to have this but this violates with security rule in Cloud. You can check it out here for more information https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/restricted-functions-in-confluence-cloud-734070955.html

Is there an answer on this? I am also getting the same white box error, when both my confluence / JIRA are on the same server.

I am having the same problem. I believe it is due to recent security updates from Atlassian to their websites that affects how iframes are displayed.
I can embed Atlassians homepage and that displays fine so the embed iframe in HTML macro works. But when I try and embed Jira Portfolio using the link provided it shows a white box and nothing else. Therefore the error must be that Jira Portfolio now has features that prevent it being viewed when embedded.
