Hi, I am a wiki (not wikispace) admin looking to find all pages across a wikispace that are using StiltSoft's Table Filter and Charts for Confluence macros. Using Confluence Server 6.2.3. How can I do this?
We installed this macro last year and are now considering uninstalling it due to managing costs for plugins. I want to contact other people using this macro to help assess what the usage of this plugin is.
I would also like to know what impact this would have on existing tables "wrapped" in these macros, if any.
Thanks for suggestions in advance.
Hi Michelle,
Without full admin privileges, you can search for macros in the Confluence search by searching for "macroName: <insert macro name>". Keep in mind, this is the macro name as it shows in the admin settings, not the macro title you see in the editor macro browser. For example, if you'd like to search for pages that use the Table of Contents macro, you would search "macroName: toc".
If you're unsure of the macro name, you can request it from the admin, who will be able to see it on the Macro Usage Statistics page. Once you have the macro name though, you can use it to search as much as you'd like in the future.
I hope this helps!
Yes, this worked for this set of macros! Results,
I realize these search results may not include spaces or pages to which I don't have visibility. Based on these preliminary numbers it looks like these macros aren't in wide use across our wikispace. This helps a lot in evaluating what to do with it. Thank you Zak!

And by the way I found the exact macro name using the Wikifier RT tool with some example data. It could probably be used to ID other third-party macro names.

Hi Michelle!
You can see every page that uses any given macro on the Macro usage statistics page ( > General Configuration > Macro usage statistics).

That is good to know Zak and I can certainly ask our (overworked) wikispace admin to take a look for me if I can't find a way to generate a list myself. I'm not a wikispace admin, just a lowly humble wiki admin. :-) I was hoping for a search parameter or way to generate a list that wouldn't involve me bothering him.

Whoops, sorry for the confusion! There is a way to search for macros using Confluence search. Give me a moment to refresh my memory, and I'll post another answer that may work for you...
