How to fix inLDAP issue some users after synchronization are not found or rename to some other user

Hi All,  

Good afternoon,  

Here my query is in my confluence production version is  5.10.9 under General Configurations User directories when automatically synchronization is performed by system  in LDAP as per LDAP settings .But After some time some  particular users means like 92 users are not found or some users details with some other names updated like Kavala babu as Frank zara (or) some users trying to login showing as no user found error like that

So for this problem we  temporary fix  this as solution we are doing manual synchronization whenever daily this issue happens i seen in audit log whenever it happen like below

Example in auditlog:   3 Aug, 2018 04:30:37 System Users and groups User details updated User: xxxxxx Show more 3 Aug, 2018 04:30:37 System Users and groups User renamed User: xxxxxxx Show more   Thanks   

 

please provide the solution for this issue to fix permanently

Hi Santhosh,

Without getting fully in to your application logs, here are some general suggestions to try:

  1. Disable the follow referrals option on your directory in Confluence. This has been known to resolve several different types of errors with LDAP syncs.
  2. Consider using the Global Catalog instead of a general domain controller sync if you have Active Directory.
  3. If you have a large directory and only some Confluence users out of the directory (test/service accounts in your directory as an example), also consider using an LDAP filter to reduce the number of results Confluence gets back from its sync query.

Thank you so much for quicker response

In application logs not showing anything because sync not failed full synchronization completed in some secs only audit log shows as whenever this happens daily as user details updated or renamed to some other user

 

then i do the manual synchronization the problem is fixed for temporary

 

please suggest any other relevant fix or solution for this type of issue is occured
