Hoping one of the Stiltsoft team might catch this. We used to be able to set the default values for filters on the Table Filter macro. But now I can't seem to find how to do that any more?
It was very useful to give users e.g. a smaller and more typically relevant table by default, but with the freedom to 'unfilter' back out to details someone may occasionally need.
Hi @Jon
there is a stillsoft doc at Table filtration - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence - StiltSoft Docs that describes how to set default values, see section "selecting values". I verified this in my instance and it works as described.
Regards,
Harald
Thanks @Harald Seyr @, I didn't expect to have to set it after publishing the page! It used to be a setting in the macro setup. Might be useful in the docs to explicitly call out the new way for "How to set default filter values"

I could be wrong, but I think the doc linked above describes setting defaults both from view and from edit mode ("in the macro browser").

Hi Jon,
Please navigate to the page edit mode and enter the Table Filter macro settings:
Go to the “Filters” tab, click the “+Add filter” option and select the required filters for correspondent columns.
Then put the needed default values for your filters.
If you don’t want your colleagues to ruin your default filters from the page view mode, you may choose the “Hidden” state of the filtration panel.
Hope this helps your case.
