This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Code Block Macro

Beside XML, I think one of the most important syntax highlighting would be for json or yml.

 Is it possible to implement this in some way by myself? if not I would really like to see this in future.

Meanwhile you could use  a Confluence plugin as a work-around :)
