We have a test and production 6.11 of confleunce installed. We had some troubles with some macros off third party applications, so on our test system I have removed all add-ons, removed the cached directories, restarted confluence and I still can;t even get the {cheese} macro to display.
It works fine on one of our older instances, version 5.9.7 and I can;t work out why it isn't working on the newer version. Simple macros like {info} seem to work fine.
Any ideas on where I can look to resolve this?
After a bit of back and forth with support, we had success with Kenny Ng suggesting this was to do with a font. You can check out the solution here as it is to do with the STIX font not playing well with JAVA (openJDK) - https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserverkb/linux-installer-fails-with-java-lang-arrayindexoutofboundsexception-0-error-938843556.html
Hello Dustin, since you've tried clearing the Confluence plugin cache, could you try resetting all plugins to their default state.
Do let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the information, but unfortunately this has not changed the issue. I still cannot get the {cheese} macro to work, even though some simple macros are working, like {info}, {status}
I have taken a screenvideo of this and can send it along to you so you can see what I am seeing, or I am happy to do a Web Conference if that works (I am in Sydney Australia)
