Jira Charts macro quick links are not pointing to the correct weblink

hajeq September 6, 2021

Confluence Server 6.8.0

Jira - Confluence connection is working properly, apart from some cases in this macro.

i.e. clicking on two dimensional chart:

  • inside the table will point to: local host, rest of the link is fine
  • clicking on "View in Jira", works as expected, points to our jira instance and displays Search in Jira.

Is there possibility to check settings of this macro?

Hi @hajeq ,

this might be because of the way you've setup the Application Link between Confluence and Jira. Can you please check the settings and make sure that you're always using Confluence and Jira correct URL ?

I guess somewhere there must be a setting where it's using "localhost" instead of Jira URL.

Let me know if this helps,

Hi Alexis, this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for the reminder where to look for it.

Have a great day.

Cheers!

Just to clarify. Case was that "Application URL" was set to localhost, and "Display URL" was set correctly. Not sure why it was set up like this in the past, probably an accident.
