Good day
I hope someone will be able to advise me re the possibility of the below.
I would like for the status of the Epic to link to a block in a table on a Confluence page
Thank you!
if you actually jsut want the status of the Epic (i.e. Open/In Progress/Done) you can add the epic with the jira-macro to your table (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/jira-issues-macro-139380.html) and just filter for the issuekey/summary of the epic.
If you want all issues(stories/tasks) of the epic you can filter for issues which are linked to the epic with the field "epic-link" (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Filter-by-epic/qaq-p/295309 for more detail).
If you want some more tipps and tricks on how to use jira and confluence together you should check out the information on this documentation page. I found it very enlightening:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/use-jira-applications-and-confluence-together-427623543.html
With kind regards,
Mario
Thank you so much, I'll explore those links :)
Thanks for the help!
Regards,
Caitlyn
