Hi,
When I create links to a different page (in the same space), the links would work fine, but I would come back to the page after a while (perhaps weeks or months) to see that the links don't work - they still appear as working links, but clicking on them does nothing.
On checking the link details, I've noticed that the page name/header that I've linked to goes missing. The only solution would be to put in the page name again.
Also, another issue is that sometimes the link names get replaced by a strange set of numbers - not entirely sure why that is happening.
Hope you can you fix these issues.
Thanks!
Update: I've discovered that the links are somehow getting changed to the current page name where they exist (that's not what I had put there). Clicking on them refreshes the same page.
If you're adding links as 'Web links' in the dialog, Confluence treats it as an absolute link and won't update those links for any reason. If you use Search, Recently viewed, or just paste in the URL of another page in your Confluence site, Confluence will add it as a relative link and will update the link when you rename the linked page.
Thanks for getting back. I usually use the Advanced option to add links. I want to be able to create relative links (so if I change the page name, it should automatically get updated), without having to go back again and again to make sure they're missing (the linked page name somehow gets deleted) even though I haven't made any changes to the link, or changed the page name.
This mostly happens when I export a copy of the space, and import it again as a different space with a new space key.

I've just had a similar issue where the links were to the attachments of the page. All links got changed to the page name. No explanation.
Not a PIBCAC error as the user is IT and this was between edit v89 and v90.

Hey David,
you got an solution to that? We are currently facing the same issue.

Sorry for the late reply, only saw this now.
IIRC, I exported the space from instance 1, imported the space into instance 2, and deleted it on instance1. Exported from instance 2 and imported it back into instance1.
I've not had a problem since.
