Macro resets after confluence page is updated

Reproduction steps

1. Create a Confluence page with drop down macros

2. After the page is created someone else selects the macros

3. Anyone but the page creator edits the page and press on Update button 

4. Macro resets after the confluence page is updated

Using: Confluence 7.1.0

Browser: Google Chrome Version 97.0.4692.99

Anyone has this problem? Is there a fix for it, or at least an workaround?

Does this occur in all browsers or only in Chrome?  Have you cleared your browser's cache?  Does it happen to others or only to you?

Couldn't reproduced it on Firefox. Yes, cleared cache. Happens for all my colleagues.

We can't reproduce the issue each time, we didn't find reproduction steps exactly, happens randomly: sometimes resets next day or sometimes after couple of hours.

@Adina Paraschiv Sounds like it might be browser specific.  Do you have any browser plugins installed in Chrome?  Since it is happening to your colleagues is there a plugin that everyone has installed?

On chrome we have some extensions installed like QR code, pixi inspector.

Does running chrome with the extensions disabled resolve the issue?
