We are receiving on our Confluence server a message to renew the license in 45 days. We are running version 6.13 LTS and are interested in the next LTS that according to Atlassian will be released between April and June.
I reckon this message is just the default and doesn't count with the change of policy for the the server licenses from 02/02/2021 but I wonder what will happen after the 45 days are exhausted and the new LTS version is not yet released.
Does anyone have some insights about it?

Hi,
You can always update only to the version of Confluence when your licenses are still valid. Unfortunately, if your license expires in 45 days and the new LTS Confluence is released in 46 days, you cannot upgrade to this version.
Atlassian from 2.2.2021 only does not sell the new server license, but the extension of the maitenance does.

yes, that's right. Atlassian say:
For your support and maintenance
Between February 2, 2021 PT and February 2, 2022 PT, we will continue to provide support (i.e. database, browser, Java) and bug fixes on server products. After February 2, 2022 PT, we will only provide security bug-fixes for critical vulnerabilities until the end of support.
On February 2, 2024 PT, your products will reach end of support. After that date, we will not release any further product updates. Regular security updates help protect your business from threats and vulnerabilities, so we strongly recommend migrating to cloud or Data Center before the end of support date.
