×Hello,
we created a custom space blueprint. Works fine, but we would like to extend it.
Is it possible to set the permissions for the space with the blueprint?
Dont find any examples or questions releated to this.
Thanks for Help!
IT_marcapo,
What do you mean by extend it? The blueprint should be able to be used by those who have access to the space. "The first time a blueprint is used in a space, Confluence creates an index page and adds a shortcut to your sidebar"
See more on the topic.

We want to add Default-Permissions to the space.
The question is, can the permissions defined inside the template?
Background:
We would like to create many of spaces. It would safe many time if we can extend the wizard with an field that can be filled up with an group name. That group should be gain access to this Space with custom permissions (read, add pages,...)

It_Marcapo,
To extend it, add the template globally so that it can be used in other spaces.
There's no way to give template permission. Space Permissions control who has access to the space, add pages and so forth.

You can create Space Blueprints and assign a customized permission scheme to it using the Blueprint Creator. This works at least for Confluence Server and Data Center.

I wonder if that means, that I can create a blueprint for meeting notes that allow reading to a defined group or a list of user?
