Trying to rename a Confluence Space resulting in error.

I have tried renaming the Space through the Space Admin>Edit Space Details section

I'm trying to change the Home Page entry.  Not the Name:

When I try to remove the word Template from the Home Page name, I get the following error:

The following error(s) occurred:

• The specified home page was not found in this space.

Is it possible you didn't edit the home page first to change the title? I got that error when the home page was called 123 and I changed it 123123 in the Space Details without changing the home page title first on the actual page. After I edited the space home page to title 123123 the Space Details page allowed me to change it.

It's entirely possible.  :)  Do you think if I change the Name back to the original and THEN try to change the Home Page it might work?  Or have a compromised myself?

Please try pasting the title of the page into the Space Details form to make sure there are no extra spaces or anything that would make the page hard to find.

Also, please try reindexing at Confluence Admin>Content Indexing in case the new name is not in the index for the space details update to find.

It finally accepted the changes.  But we had to flush cache and bounce the server. :)  Confluence and Jira are beginning to sound like a Windows product.  "Have you turned the system off and back on?"
