Our confluence Data-Center license expires soon, but we're not finished migrating our content. What happens to the confluence installation and its content after that day? Will it be accessible for our world-wide customers?
The site will go read only. You'll still be able to access your data. You just can't add data.
The initial problem migrating away from Confluence are the enormous subscription costs for 1 year Data-Center-License. We could buy a company-Porsche every year instead, sorry.

Hi Jack, here's an article from Atlassian describing what happens if the subscription expires. It appears your site will go read only until you update your license.

I would contact Atlassian at support.atlassian.com/contact if you are interested in renewing or if they have any other options.
Hope that helps.

Hi Jack,
Dan is correct in saying that the subscription will go to "Read only".
I would advise to contact us via our support portal.
Best,
Lenard
