Hi team,
I'm seeking your advice/experience re Team Calendars in particular.
Background:
We are not in a position at this point to move to either Confluence Cloud or Data Centre. We have just put Confluence 7.19 into DEV but Team Calendars isn't working. And its no longer supported. We are currently using an unlicenced version as we don't want to pay for the licence if it's not going to work anyway.
Any advice on what we should do? Is there a particular version of both Confluence and Team Calendars that play nicely together, but are further along than our current versions of 7.13.7 (Confluence) and 7.1.5 (Team Calendars) that we are using in PROD?
7.19.5 and the latest version of TC don't play nicely.
Thanks in advance,
Kathryn.
Hi Kathryn,
Addon Teams Calendars was integrated to Confluence Data Center since version 7.11.
If you previously purchased a license for the Teams Calendar addon, this addon will only work for the version for which you purchased a license.
We now have Confluence version 7.13 and Teams Calendar version 7.1.5 is bundled there - but because we have purchased an old license up to version 6.0.52 (our licence expired Aug 06, 2020), I always have to uninstall the newer version of Teams Calendar addon and install our old version 6.0.52.
If you have never paid for the Teams Calendar addon in the past, it will not work for you - as of Confluence 7.11, this addon only works with a Confluence Data Center license.

Hi @Pavel Junek and @Mirek ,
My System Engineer downloaded the 7.1.5 jar file and I installed it in DEV and it works fine! Bizarre that 7.1.5 isn't available in the Version history though ...

Hi @Kathryn Reddie,
Thank you for your update :)
Addon Teams Calendar is from version 7.1.5 is bundled with Confluence as a part of Data Center licence (integrated to Confluence itself) - it's not a separate addon now. The "Version history" provides previous versions even when it was a standalone addon. Now this addon is updated only with Confluence upgrade. For more info you can see Announcing Team Calendars in Confluence Data Center

As you might know already since 7.11 Team Calendars are bundled in Confluence Data Center
But are you sure that you are using 7.1.5 version of Team Calendar? When looking at archives I do not see that version
https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/72307/team-calendars-for-confluence/version-history
It ends up on 7.0.17..
Same here
https://confluence.atlassian.com/teamcal/team-calendars-release-notes-241566242.html
so I guess this is why it is not compatible.
Maybe you can try installing 7.0.17? (even it is not officially compatible it might work.. )

Thank you for confirming. In that case I guess we are waiting together with @Pavel Junek for results of uninstalling / installing a version from marketplace version history. There is a chance that it would work. Of course please check your license when it expired so that you can choose the highest possible version.
