someone accidentally deleted a gliffy. How can we restore this?
Gliffy diagrams consist of two parts, a macro on the Confluence page and an attachment that the macro refers to that contains the diagram data. It's more likely that the user deleted the macro rather than the attachment.
The easier way to recover is to revert the page change that deleted the macro.
If that's not practical, go to the page attachments and download the Gliffy diagram in question. Then insert a new Gliffy diagram into the page. On the opening splash screen that appears select "Import a diagram" then upload the .gliffy file you saved from attachments. This will bring up a new diagram that you can save back to the page.
May have to intervene and force the file extension to be ".gliffy".

Check the space "trash" for deleted stuff, but I suspect that if they've deleted just the attachment, it's gone, and you'll need to go to your backups to dig it out and re-attach it.

Hello @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- ,
As per the User, they are using scroll version in their space and they haven't deleted any attachment. They suspect the versioning of page and its published contents might hides the attachments of page. Is it possible? Can you suggest some solution. As most of the team member don't even know the option of Trash in confluence space.
Regards
Bhakti Prasad Panda

An alternative to going through Atlassian's archives/deleted spaces or pages would be to retrieve it directly from Gliffy's saved diagrams in the app.
To access all saved diagrams in your confluence, simply open a new diagram and find the "Search for a diagram" tab on the left menu (seen in image below). You can search by a specific space or all saved diagrams in your confluence.
You can then save that diagram into any new space/page or make any needed changes.
