Remove people tab from on demand confluence sites

We have multiple projects with different customers who shouldn't know about each other.  I created JIRA groups to cleanly separate them.  But now if they go to their confluence pages all they have to do is click on people to see all of the customer names.  I need that removed ASAP.  Please assist.

Are you saying this feature has been implemented and if I follow those links to put restrictions on spaces users won't be able to click on the "people" tab and view all users, or won't be able to auto complete user names with @?https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-7837

Sounds like they all have access to same space.  You can restrict view access for a page with "Restrictions".
