I have used tiny URLs to link a document to a section within another document. While, the tiny URL link resolves correctly in Chrome and Opera browser, the same cannot be said about IE, Firefox, and Safari browsers. For them, the system just takes me to the top of the landing page of the linked document, rather than the exact section within the document. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.
Hi Sidharta,
do you have this only with tiny URLs?
We are having this issue for a long time with FF with "normal" links. I suppose this is due to a FF Bug (Scrolling to anchor fails in Firefox 4) which has been filed a long time ago.
Our workaround is to reload every page via java script in "Custom HTML" section.
Cheers,
Kirstin
Hi Kirstin,
For Firefox and IE, the link does not take me to the exact section in a document but somewhat near to that section. In case of Safari, tiny URLS do not work.I replaced the same with standard links and it worked just fine.
Cheers,
Sidhartha
