×Presently my system has two versions of the Atlassian Companion application installed. One appears to have been an MSI install (this one seems to have uninstalled but left remnants behind/unclean uninstall) and the standard EXE.
Is there a clean way to completely remove all of Atlassian Companion and its residual files?
Hi @Brandon Purnell ,
The MSI by default installs to:
Program Files (x86)/Atlassian Companion
The EXE installs to:
%LOCALAPPDATA%/atlassian-desktop-companion
Both MSI and EXE store temporary data in:
%APPDATA%/Atlassian Companion
and the edited files in:
C:\Users\<UserName>\.atlassian-companion
Companion also creates the following registry entries:
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\atlassian-companion
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\atlassian-companion
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\atlassian-desktop-companion
You can do a registry search for "atlassian" to locate them. However please note that these are used for both the MSI and EXE.
