We are still attempting to upgrade our Production Confluence to a supported version. However, when I upgrade to a newer version, we receive error messages that there is an Unknown Macro {Users}. Please see the attached document that shows what this unknown macro {users} is and where it's located. Please, please help us fix this issue. We have been trying to upgrade for 12 months with no success.
Follow the directions to get into the appropriate page for editing:
For the exact steps:
Here is the location of the Unknown Macro {Users}:
Click on one of the Global Pages on the Left-hand side of the Dashboard page.
Under the Browse Drop Down List in the Upper Right-Hand, click on the Pages Link
On this page, click on the Link that says Tree (next to View: Recently Updated Alphabetical)
Click on the TreeNavigation link
Here is where you can now click on the EDIT link right under the Confluence Administrator Drop Down
This is where the Wiki Markup Language is stored and when compared with what is in the Production
Confluence, is exactly the same, but is not recognizing the following line:
{users:group=dynamics_ax|showName=true|size=32px}
Change user to userlister
Then, someone will have to go into the Confluence Admin section of Confluence (click on the Browse drop down list and select Confluence Admin):
Under the Subheading of Users & Security in the Left-Hand Column, select Groups:
Click on the appropriate group and add the members to the group !!
None of the groups have any members and will have to be manually modified based on the current memberships of the Confluence 3.1 Group Members.
Please see post by Cara Revis for the answer to this issue !! We have documented this issue with screen shots if needed.

Hi Mary,
Sorry that this issue happened. Most probably you are using incompatible plugins. Or it's some custom macro that needs to be converted to the latest release of Confluence that use XHTML as its storage format. If incompatible plugin is the cause, you need to upgrader the plugin to the version that is compatible with your Confluence.
Hope this information helps. Cheers.
