Hello

Is it possible to upgrade from a 32 bit installation to a x64 installation?

Jira is already at version 5.x but still with 32 bit. does this lead to problems mixing x64/x32 version of the tools?

For testing the upgrade I installed on a virtual system {{confluence-3.5.13-evaluation.exe}}

Now the {{atlassian-confluence-4.2.11-x32.exe}} updater cannot find the already installed version

is there a workaround?

Upgrading to a 64bits from a 32 bit version is not possible. I suggest you to install the 64bit version and then import your data using an XML backup (if your instance has a small/mmedium size).
