Is it possible to create the user interface of the web site www.pinterest.comusing Zen foundation and Conflunce?
Hi Arnold,
From a design & content presentation perspective, yes, you could do something very similar to the pinterest site backed by Confluence and Zen Foundation. Our new Theme Press product would make that quite easy.
From a functional perspective, there's certainly a lot going on, so depending how much of that you were after, could be straightforward or a huge amount of custom code. If you have specifics in mind, or just want to bounce around some general goals, let me know and I'd be happy to brainstorm with you.
Cheers,
Darryl
Hi Davin and Darryl,
Got it. I got the same answer from my internal web developer earlier and would like to check if there is any special mock-ups from confluence and Zen to be considered so that I don't need to build it from scratch.
Will give it a try after setting up an instance for testing confluence and Zen foundation.
Thanks,
Arnold

Hi Darryl,
Could you please let me know what and how I can do to easily create a web site similar to below URL using Confluence and Zen foundation/Intranet/Theme Press? Could I just your your macros to accomplish it?
If time permits to you, could we have a brainstorming session?
Thanks and Regards,
Arnold

Not really. Honestly you could do alot of the stuff that Zen does in the custom css and html section of Confluence admin if you know html, js, and css. Really, since Confluence opens up the ability to put in css and html then you could do most anything using just the base install. Thus I suppose you could do something like Pinterest using html, js, and css ... but you would need to have a coder do it ... nothing to point and click and make it happen.
