I'd love to hear from you guys - what additonal Blueprints would you like to see? What Blueprints do you see your end-users creating? How can we create a better out-of-the-box experinece for them?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Hello!

Thanks for asking. Blueprint is really a cool feature, and it definitely can easy the life while creating new content and addint similar content from project to project.

What would be helpful, in terms of blueprint:

1. Release Notes
Every project has releases, and it would be very good to automate this process

2. User Stories.
You've shipped a great blueprint -- Product Requirements. It's very useful, but when creating a new requirement, the template has a table with listed user stories. It would be great to go forward and automate of creating, gathering and working on user stories. So when I create a new product requirement and I can easily add some user stories that supports this product requirement.

3. Roadmap
It would be great to come up with some nice blueprint for creating Roadmap.

In general it would be very helpful any blueprints that help to gathering, organizing and working on creating product requirements and further working on user stories.

Thanks in advance and looking for the next great update and new blueprints :)

Thanks for the very helpful answer, Eugene. Would you have time to do an interview / discuss some of these things? They sound very much similar to some of our thinking. Would love to hear form you: smansour at atlassian dot com. Let me know your thoughts.

Knowledgebase focused blueprints, such as: 1.) PRC document - Problem - Resolution - Cause 2.) Q & A / FAQ - question - answer - overview 3.) Guides / How to's - function/feature - overview - use guide / steps Not to say that these are industry standards and I would be interested in tweaking to industry best practices - but these are common themes I find in the knowledge article realm. Hi Community,

blueprints seems really powerful and easy to use.

I was wondering if there is a way to generate statistics about the meetings held, such as the average number of participants, the time spent, the frequency of meetings across the year and so on.

Regards

Marco

As mentioned by a previous post, a roadmap feature would be great. Something that incorporates visual flow to the work plans. As an example, see this: http://tinydotmedia.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/product-road-map-template-v3.jpg

Good question - Blueprints have 3 goals.

1. Show people waht they can create

2. Help them create it

3. Help them structure it.

Templates is just _one_ of the many components that makes a Blueprint. A Blueprint can invovle an "index" page, macros, a wizard, or other plugin points. The link above has some simple examples.
