hey
i have an excel file, after changing this file.
this infos sould automatically update my confluence page.
how can i do this or what do i need for this task.
Hi @joerg taub
Welcome to the community!
The native capabilities of Confluence for Excel files are very limited. You will need to turn to the Marketplace to have your need fulfilled.
I can recommend the Elements Spreadsheet app.
You will be able to import your Excel file inside Confluence to allow other team members to collaborate. There's no live feed from the Excel file you imported, however you can export your file back to Excel at any given time and continue using it in Excel.
If you'd like assistance or have questions, feel free to book a slot in my calendar.
Best regards,
Hi @joerg taub,
We can suggest trying the app that we develop – Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.
You may use your existing Excel file, import it to the Table Spreadsheet macro and continue to work with it right in Confluence (with all the Excel-like features: cell formulas, pivot tables, filtering, sorting, conditional formatting, etc.).
If you prefer to work in Excel but want to share the result table with your colleagues, you may use the Table from CSV macro and connect your data as an attachment or URL. Your colleagues will be also able to filter and aggregate this recreated table with the help of other macros coming with our add-on.
We’ll be also happy to arrange a live demo session for you and your team – please book an available time slot here.

If you need to add an exel file in the confluence page to check the changes in the file, Polaris spreadsheet can be a good option.
Our app, Polaris spreadsheet allows you to embed an existing excel files in a confluence page and directly edit it.
It offers full editing capabilities for excel files and provides an advanced view mode that allows you to use filters, scroll, and find. Please check the details.

@joerg taub Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
There is no current method available natively in Confluence Cloud to trigger an update to Confluence from an external source such as a Microsoft Excel file. Automations must start in Confluence itself to trigger updates/changes.
There may be a Marketplace App that can help you with this task - I recommend that you take a look at what is on offer there.
Good luck!
