can we do a bulk change on the pages to change the owner of all the pages in a confluence space?
Hallo Spatruni
There's another way, but it has some caveats that I've mentioned below. You can install the Copy Space plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.confluence.plugin.copyspace) and then copy the space to a new space. Untick the option called "Use existing authors and dates". This will copy your space to a new space, with a new space key. The author of all the pages will be the person who copied the space. You could then remove the original space.
Please note the following caveats:
In other words, the above method may be useful if the above points are not a drawback in your situation. It's definitely worth testing the solution and assessing the results before you use it for real.
I hope this is useful, or at least interesting. ;)
Cheers, Sarah
This is amazing. I think i should try this.
Thanks, Srinivas

Hallo again Srinivas
Another point just occurred to me: Note that copying the space will change all tiny links (permalinks) because every page gets a new tiny link in the new space.

Hi all, the way this is done has changed somewhat in recent versions. Please see this page for detailed instructions: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/How+to+change+the+creator+of+a+page

Hi everyone,
We used the instructions on that page and found that Confluence must be restarted after the queries are run, otherwise the "Created By" name displayed will revert as soon as the page is edited.

Hello there,
The closest solution for you is described in the https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Changing+Usernames page. However, this approach requires some heavy database manipulation, so make sure to create a database backup before applying it.
There's currently a feature request being tracked in http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-4063 that should facilitate this process via Confluence interface.
Hope it helps.

Hi,
There is another JIRA Improvement tracking this as well. More from the perspective to change owner of a page rather than change the user-id for a person.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-7247
Hopefully this will be reality! It is annoying that the person who does a massive import to Confluence will be the one watching all pages and receive notifications when pages are updated. It should reallly be possible to change this ownership!
