Hi,
Is there a good way to get an overview of headings used in the page ? I have a page that has a mix of headings and various fonts, so looking in the editor it's hard to tell the difference between headings and other text. For example, bold paragraph text and h6 look very similar.
Hallo yzats
The Table of Contents macro (toc macro) gives a list of headings on the page. It's quite versatile with some good parameters allowing you to set some useful options.
This page has an overview of the macros in Confluence:
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/working%20with%20macros
And this page describes the Table of Contents macro in particular:
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Table+of+Contents+Macro
You can also display the headings in just a portion of the page, using the Table of Contents Zone macro:
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Table+of+Content+Zone+Macro
I hope this answers the question.
Cheers, Sarah
Thank you, this helps. Is there any other way to get same overview of the same information without modifying the page ? That would be ideal.
