I have been trying to change the column/row dimensions for the spreadsheet being displayed in confluence corresponding to the excel file i uploaded via excel macro, however macro only enables few editing options such as file name, sheet name to be updated or modified and hence my spreadheet table looks too clumsy in view option in confluence.

Will be a great help if could find a method to assist on this.

Hi @Chandra Prakash

Welcome to the Community!

The native Excel macro and Excel capabilities is not the strong suit of Confluence I'm afraid... You will need an app to have advanced editing options.

I can suggest you the Elements Spreadsheet app, available both on Confluence Cloud and on-premise. It's very simple to use, you can import Excel spreadsheets and work on them in Confluence. You can do all the basic stuff Excel allows you to do. You can of course resize columns/rows as you please. Another cool thing is the ability to configure custom templates to match your company's look and feel standards.

If you need assistance or need to discuss your use case in greater details, feel free to book a time slot in my calendar, I'll be happy to help!

Hi @Chandra Prakash ,

We can also suggest trying our app that is Table Filter and Charts for Confluence and its Table Spreadsheet macro.

You'll be able to import your existing csv/xlsx file to Confluence and continue working right there using all the basic Excel functions (cell formulas, pivots, conditional formatting, etc.).

HI @Chandra Prakash

Natively, I am afraid that the options are limited. Sometime changing the row size in Confluence works out, but other times it does not.

You can also try our Excellentable to create and edit confleucne sheets natively in confluence. The app is free for under 10 users (Cloud)
