Hi all,
i have a trouble with the use of SharePoint Connector. I have to test it for my enterprise. I can call Confluence from SharePoint but when i want to test the communication from confluence i've got an error. I use Confluence 5.8.3 and SharePoint Connector 1.9.3.
In the Atlassian's log, there is this a stack trace beginning with :
2015-06-15 17:39:38,154 ERROR [http-nio-8090-exec-8] [extra.sharepoint.ws.WebServiceAccessorImpl] testConnection SOAP Service Call failed! -- referer: http://inpib01v:8090/admin/sharepoint-admin/editAlias.action?serverAlias=Sharepoint&atl_token=7dd7caf3f7786a9c80b45f05b88dded723db9c36 | url: /rest/sharepoint/1.0/SharePoint-admin/TestConnection | userName: admin java.lang.RuntimeException: org.springframework.beans.factory.xml.XmlBeanDefinitionStoreException: Line 9 in XML document from class path resource [cxf.xml] is invalid; nested exception is org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 9; columnNumber: 64; cvc-elt.1.a: Cannot find the declaration of element 'beans'.
Do you have any idea?
Thanks for your relply.

Hi I am also using confluence version 6.2.1 trail version and sharepoint connector version 1.9.8 and i install confluence on my sharepoint server only and when after installing sharepoint connector i am trying to configure it getting below error.
Test call SharePoint service failed:: HTTP response '403: Forbidden' when communicating with http://localhost:56000/_vti_bin/lists.asmx
i am having farm admin access on sharepoint also my sharepoint server is Windows 2012 R2 server where NTLM is enalbed.
Please help me to resolve the confluence to sharepont connection problem.
Hi All,
The error in the stack trace is related to a known bug in the Sharepoint Connector:https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CSI-1156 This particular bug only occurs on Confluence servers that don't have access to the internet or where there is a proxy in place blocking outside connections. See the bug report for a workaround. I'd also encourage you to vote/watch and add your comments.
Cheers,

I don't see a workaround in that ticket number.
Is there one?

Hi Clem,
have you been able to find a solution to this issue yet?
Thanks,
Jared

I ran into the same exact issue today when trying to do the Test Connection b/w SP and Confluence. However, I am using SharePoint Connector 1.9.5 w/ Confluence 5.8.4 and this is what I see in the logs (very similar error):
