The default attachment size limit is 10MB. Is there any reason to have such a limit?

There isn't any special reasoning except to impose a standard limit. JIRA also has an attachment limit size as to not allow unreasonable uploads after initial setups. Chanigng that limit is a simple procedure though.

Hi Matt, We increased our allowed attachment size to 200MB. We started seeing issues where Confluence would become unresponsive when uploading large files. We fixed the problem, but I'm not sure which approach worked. If you run into the same issue, here's some things to try: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/125579/using-confluence-as-a-large-file-sharing-platform Jason
