I want to rename the Confluence home directoy either before I upgrade or directly after.
Reason is because historically (unknown to why) Confluence has been upgraded via installing required version and exporting/importing database. The new home directory being the named version eg D:\Atlassian\Confluence62 for version 6.2
However, I understand this approach just isn't conducive for upgrade integrity so I wish to perform the std upgrade across the existing installation. I just don't want the home directory name to retain the old version reference as it's misleading and bad practice.
Thanks
Richard
