SaaS >> Layering on customers/groups & avoiding public spaces being seen?

spearmint_man June 24, 2020

OK we are making a saas for customers, each customer comes with a user base from 10 - 10,000. (but more likely 1-200).

We intend to add these customers on to the same instance and scale the instance up as required, currently using k8. Using groups and permissions for separation.

This is a non internet network.

One customer wants a public space so anyone from our large org can see some docs, but other customers im guessing dont want to see their "wiki" instead would prefer a logon and be oblivious of ACME industrys expose on methods in catching the road runner.

Is there a way to make public stuff viewable via perhaps a session token so different people see diferent things before login, or am i living in cloud cuckoo cuckoo land and it should be all private and everyone needs user accounts (or the public wiki for road runner info needs to be on its own instance and sharing isnt possible)??

Thoughts most welcome.
