Whilst trying to install Zen Intranet via Zen Lightning: the process hangs for quite some time then returns a dialogue stating "Server error: unable to complete this step". This is on Confluence 5.3, Zen Foundation 5.2.12, Lighning 1.0.1-130909.1847, and Intranet 1.0.4. In the logs I find this:

Any ideas?
Hi Michael,
We've seen this occur when the underlying database is MS SQL Express or Developer edition. This discussion flags the issue: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/162425/zen-intranet-install-fails-on-windows-server-2008r2-ms-sql
If you've encountered this on a suported database, and it doesn't seem to be a server heap space problem, please open a support ticket at http://brikit.atlassian.net.
