Hi,
I am trying to create a knowledge base system using Confluence.
I had a look at this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Developing+a+Knowledge+Base+on+Confluence+Wiki
We are trying to implement a page ID system so that our users can easily be referred to an ID and search for that instead of the link.
I am aware that each page has an ID but these numbers are a bit too long.
Does anyone have any idea how I can set up an ID system with the pages?
Thanks heaps.
May be you can try something with the tiny links. In in any page you click "Tools" > "Link to this page..." you can see the tiny URL. You can use the last part as the ID.
