Hi, I am trying to share my Confluence page with my teammates.
I used 'Share' option and added my teammates' ID information and all of them got the invitation e-mail. Also, my page is an unrestricted page.
But somehow, they tried to access the page but they couldn't with the error message 'Page Not Found." It worked the same as they opened up the short link.
How can I fix the problem?
Thank you.
Hi @Mihyun Moon
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
By any chance, the page title was renamed/changed, asking because If the page title changes, the URL will likewise be updated to reflect the new title. If a user then tries to accesses a page with the old title in the URL, they will encounter a "Page not found" with a suggestion that the page may have been renamed, including a link to the new page.
You can refer more details on this link
If the page title has to be renamed for some reason in future, its a good idea to share the page with pageID format (a unique pageId value (stored in the database) eg -
https://confluence.example.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=123456
Thank you for your kind answer :)
As your advice, I've sent the link with pageID format to my teammates but it didn't work out - still they can only see "Page Not Found" page.
Are there any other options I can try? Thank you.

Hi @Mihyun Moon
That's strange, if the page is unrestricted and if you have enabled Anonymous access, then everyone on the internet should be able to view the page. Can you also confirm if you have enabled anonymous access ?

I checked out the anonymous access on Space Tools and it was already enabled.
However, your advice helped me a lot - I solved the issue by granting permissions to individual teammates on Space Tools.
I do not know the exact reason, but I guess the page was originally my personal page - so although I opened it up to public, it required further access requests.
Thank you so much!

Hi @Mihyun Moon
Great, that you were able to solve it. Yes, sharing or inviting someone to edit a page or blog post does not automatically grant any permissions - they will still need the appropriate Confluence permissions to access Confluence and view or edit the page. So in your case, once you granted the permission to the users, they were able to access it.
