Show as Thumbnail option is gone

After restarting Confluence server, the Show as Thumbnail option when inserting link to a file is gone.

Existing pages where Show as Thumbnail link option was used now display an unknown macro error even if we didn't use a macro to insert the file and show it as thumbnail.

Hi Dolly,

From both symptoms, it seems that we might be having an issue specifically related to the View File macro usage, which is the one responsible to help the users to see the file's thumbnail. As you are noticing that the macro is stated as unknown, it's worth to check if the add-on is enabled or if we are not facing the same symptoms from this KB article which will help us to convert the macros to reflect with the new one, from Confluence 5.7 and above versions.

Remember to raise a ticket in our support channel (https://support.atlassian.com), in case of needing specific help to proceed with you here.

Regards,

Giu
