I'm using the table excerpt macro, combining/consolidating tables/rows from multiple pages in another single page.
Each of the "child" tables, has the same header row and 1 or more detail lines/rows.
In confluence this works very well, as in the aggregated table, the header row is only shown once, and all the detail lines are properly displayed.
see pictures below
- first child table on one of the sub-pages, including header
- second child table on another sub-page, including header
considated table, where all child pages are combined into 1 table, with 1 header.
However, when exporting this to word or pdf, suddenly the consolidated table is now having duplicate header rows, for every child table references.
see picture below
the nice table in confluence, now in pdf (and word) is duplicating the headers.
I would expect the pdf export to look exactly as the page in the browser.
Hi @Glenn Quirynen ,
Do you use the standard Confluence export to pdf? I assume that your hosting is Server/Data Center and for me everything works well in our instance (see the last table - as you can notice, this combined table consists of three mini-tables from three different pages, the headings are not duplicated).
Please check what version of the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app you are using - the current one is 8.1.1.
You may also check the version of your Confluence.
Hi Katerina,
We are using confluence server/data center 7.4.13
Our version for Table Filter and Charts for Confluence 7.9.12
We are planning to upgrade confluence to 7.13.x

Your current version of Confluence is supported by the app.
I've checked the case on the Confluence 7.4.0 and couldn't reproduce the issue. Tried both the standard pdf export of the whole page and the export of the result table via our macros. Also used merged headers in the source tables - everything works fine for me.
Please update the app to the 8.1.1 version (the latest as for now) and check if the issue persists.
If yes, raise a support ticket here. Attach the Page Storage Format (upper right corner of the page -> menu ... -> View Storage Format) of the master page and two child pages with excerpts. We'll recreate the pages and look into the issue.
