Table rendering issue

Bhakti Paranjpe September 11, 2019 edited

We have Confluence cloud.

Tables are not rendering correctly. This one is a responsive table, but same issue occurs for fixed-width table.

In edit mode - text looks alright.

In view mode - The text in the first column is close to the left border. The second column looks alright.

Please advise a solution Thanks.

Hi @Bhakti Paranjpe

Pls try to choose fixed width.

Drag column borders to set width. The table always appears at the width you set.

Thanks, Ollie. But, its the same issue with fixed width tables as well. I edited the post to mention this.

@Ollie Guan I'm also seeing this issue along with the text in the first column always being left-aligned instead of centered

Bhakti Paranjpe September 12, 2019 edited

@Tyler Payne the issue is the left-aligned text somehow sticks to the left edge of the column in view mode. In edit mode, the text leaves the desired margin.

When you centre align the text, there is no issue.

This issue appears only n the first column. See the second column, that looks okay.
