Table with tick boxes to show rows

Hi,

I'd like to create tick boxes on top of a table. Table would be populated by different data linked to different departments. The tick boxes would be the different department.

If I select marketing and HR  (which would be headers), the table should only show me all the rows related to these two departments.

Is this something possible? With a plugin?
