UPM won't upgrade

I cannot get UPM to upgrade. I found a refernce to a database setting problem but I cant seem to solve it. I am running MYSql. Can anyone help?

These two issues may or may not be linked, but without seeing the error from your logs I'm not going to be able to say whether the issue with upgrading the UPM is related or not.

However, for problems with upgrading the UPM you can try following the instructions in this knowledge base article as this will provide you with alternative options for upgrading your UPM in JIRA, Confluence and FishEye.
