Unable to Delete Attachment

There's a Word document in search results that I'm able to open but not delete even as an admin. It doesn't appear as one of the attachments on its page to delete it through the interface.

Document name: "TMD 2015 Performance Evaluation Form.doc"

URL: [domain/space/page]?preview=%2F23662222%2F23662320%2FTMD+2015+Performance+Evaluation+Form.doc

How can we delete this file?

We recently upgraded to Confluence 6.7.1 from a version 5.

I am afraid you are running into Deleted Attachments Returning in Confluence Search Results. 

A space admin may perform this workaround to get rid of the file:

1. Delete the attachment from the trash by going to Space Tool > Content Tools > Trash > choose the deleted attachments > Delete
2. Purge the trash by going to Space Tool > Content Tools > Trash > purge
