Hi Jason,

Is this the issue you're running into, perhaps?

Summary

Using Internet Explorer 11 users are unable to paste content within the editor using Ctrl+V shortcut

Environment

Confluence Cloud with the new look and navigation.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have Confluence in the new look and navigation
  2. Access it using IE11
  3. Create or edit a page
  4. While you're still in editor mode copy some content from elsewhere (like the notepad) using Ctrl+C
  5. Try to paste it using Ctrl+V

Expected Results

The content is pasted.

Actual Results

The content isn't pasted.

The following error appears in the browser's console:

SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property 'getData' of undefined or null reference
atlassian-editor.min.js (19,18296)

Workaround

Use Right click + Paste to paste the content.

Could you test the workaround and confirm if it works for you?

Thank you!

 Regards,

Shannon

I confirm the workaround of using the context menu paste function does work, thanks.
