User and groups migration from LDAP into Confluence internal usermanagement

Andreas Koller January 23, 2012

Is there a way to migrate users and groups from LDAP into the internal usermanagement of Confluence? We are using LDAP for authentification only. All Users and Groups should covered in Confluence without the need of a first login. Any Ideas?

Thank you

PS: we are running on Confluence 3.5.x

While the reply is a little late as the process is new, you should be able to use the process laid out in this new KB article to accomplish this migration, which uses the Atlassian CLI to populate your local directory, and also migrate group memberships as well.
