User macros have to be set new every day. Because of restart of Confluence?

Hello together,

we updated our Confluence System to 6.7.2 and since then our user macros don´t work properly anymore.

The problem is that the macros which are already being used on a page can´t be edited. And that user macros can not be inserted into a page. When I click on a user macro the mask to edit the page appears, but the content does not load.

Like in this picture, it just loads and loads all the time but nothing shows up.

So the only solution I have till now is to always copy the macro and make a new one. Every day.

Could it have something to do with confluence resetting every day?

Thanks and regardsconf.png

Hi there,

It appears that you're running into this bug:

According to the comments, a fix was released in 6.8.0.

I would recommend creating a staging environment and upgrade that to 6.8.0 and see if it resolves your issue.

Let us know if you have any questions!

Regards,

Shannon

Hello Shannon,

thanks for the info.

At the moment, we can not update Confluence and also not test an update on Stage.

Is there any other way to solve this issue for the time being?

Thanks

I'm afraid the only ways to fix it is to upgrade to 6.6.4 (the latest enterprise release) or 6.8.something or above.
