When inserting a table of contents, it is adding the cover as one of the content in the table of contents and also creating a duplicate of the table of contents
Well, the TOC macro looks at paragraph styles - if you need the 'cover' to be a heading, make it a different heading than is used in the document. Then set the TOC macro to exclude that heading.
What do you mean 'duplicate of the table of contents'?
- I set the macro's paragraph to a heading level, and it doubles some text and displays some of the TOC text at that level, but doesn't repeat the entire TOC.
for sure, make sure the line of text your macro is on is set to Paragraph.
