What is the best approach to capture navigation analytics in a public confluence environment?

I am designing and developing a public confluence configuration environment and I am interested on find out what is the best approach to manage navigation statistics. I used to embed Google analytics years ago. Is that still the best approach?

Besides Google Analytics, you also have this add-on:

• Analytics for Confluence

Google Analytics seems to be more popular still, but you can give that one a try and see if you like it.
