Where does the keytool place the key and csr?

Dolev Sall September 18, 2019

Hi,

I was following the procedure https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/running-confluence-over-ssl-or-https-161203.html. I used the keytool which is place in confluence directory: /confluence/jre/bin/keytool to generate a local certificate and CSR however, i can't find the place where my certificate from the first step (Option 1 "Create a self-signed certificate") and not the CSR which is been generated. I am running on linux rhel 7.2.

Would love assistance from someone who did it before.

Thanks

Check my answer for another user. To generate the cert, just use openssl.
