Why can I not add an event to a calendar?

When editing a calendar, I can't add events.

Trying to edit in the macro

I own the page where the calendar is (but not the space)

No errors, the button just doesn't seem to exist.

Wait... oops. I wasn't editing in the right place. Calendar can only be edited once published. wow, I feel silly! haha, Thanks Brittany!

Need a little bit more info.

Where are you trying to edit the calendar?
Do you own the page that the calendar is on?
Are you getting any errors when trying to add an event?
