When adding the Recently Updated Dashboard macro to a page, it doesn't have the same look and feel as it does when displayed on the Dashboard. The Show More / Show Fewer icons are touching (versus having a space between them on the Dashboard); the profile pictures, when added, are put on top of the update (versus being next to them and in line with them on the Dashboard). It just looks like different formatting is involved when on the Dashboard and we need it to look the same when it is on a page. Does this have to do with how the Dashboard itself works? Please assist if anyone knows why this behavior exists.
The theme on the dashboard is probably different then the theme of the space you're installing the macro on. If you set them both to the same theme then they'll probably look the same. The dashboard will be the default confluence theme unless it was changed in the admin console.
Different themes have different css rules which would make margins, colors, fonts, etc. look different.
