Will users which are in several global permissions groups block more than one license?

In the global permissions we have several user groups. It may happen, that one user exists in both groups. Would this user count as 2 licenses now? Or does Confluence check on duplicates here? Can anyone help?

Hi @Jan Priebe ,

Confluence will only count a user once even if they are a member of several different groups granting access to the product. You don't have to worry about duplicate licence count :)

Let me know if this helps,

Hi @Jan Priebe

Adding people to the group will not consume the licence. Global permissions will help that user to do additional things based on the group you used. This link can help you clear your doubts further.
